One of the benefits of membership in the Woodworkers Guild of Georgia is having access to over 100 DVD'S in our video library. The DVD's videos were purchased for all members with funds provided from our annual membership fees and from penalties charged for keeping videos longer than one month. To have equal access to all the videos by all members, the guild has established several rules for our use of the videos.
- A member may sign out DVD's from the video library at any regular meeting. Usually, the DVD's are not transported to off-site meetings other than the Woodcraft meeting locations.
- There is no charge for borrowing DVD's videos for one month. However, if DVD"s videos are kept longer than the next monthly meeting, a fee of $3.00 per month per video will be charged when the videos are returned. The penalty fees will be waived for any month a Guild meeting is cancelled.
- The DVD's videos should be returned to the Guild librarian at the next meeting, or, in the absence of the Guild librarian, to any board member. The DVD"s videos should be returned whether the meeting is at Woodcraft or an off-site location.
If you wish to have a DVD video added to the library, please provide the Guild Librarian the name, source, and cost of the DVD. Your request will be considered for purchase at the next board meeting.
We welcome any donations of woodworking DVD's videos to the Guild Library.
